Infinity POS
Infinity POS for complete retail systems
Infinity is the retail platform BizTracker builds into complete systems for grocery, convenience, liquor and specialty retail. We specify the register, peripherals, setup, training and processing around the way the store runs.
Remote implementation nationwide. Onsite service across Tampa Bay.
What is Infinity POS, and who is it for?
Infinity is a retail point-of-sale platform for retailers who need real inventory control rather than a tablet till. BizTracker specifies the system, installs it, trains the staff and supports it afterwards — which is the part that decides whether a POS project works.
It suits stores whose stock is the business: grocery and deli, convenience, liquor and bottle shops, and specialty retail with deep catalogs. It is a retail platform, so restaurants and bars follow a separate pathway.
- Built around the item fileReceiving, purchase orders, transfers and counts all resolve to one record per product.
- Reporting for an owner, not an analystSales, margin and movement are in the platform rather than in a monthly export.
- Register-level controlCash handling, permissions and item-level age, date and time restrictions sit where the errors actually occur.
- Specified hardwareTerminals, scanners, printers, drawers and scales are chosen for the workflow, not bundled.
Infinity is not the right answer for a full-service restaurant or bar — that is what the LINGA pathway is for — and it is more system than a single-register shop with fifty products needs.
At the register
What the cashier sees at checkout
Infinity uses the item record to drive what happens at the register: identify the product, apply its selling rules, handle weighed items where required, take payment and finish the transaction.
Scan or enter the item
Inventory managementInfinity item records hold the product code or barcode, description, selling price, tax and other selling attributes used by the POS. Alternate scan codes can also be stored against the same item.
Apply age and time restrictions to the item
Age-restricted itemsInfinity can control when an item may be sold, including products restricted by customer age and products allowed only during a defined time period.
Weigh scale items at the sale
Hardware for InfinityFor a scale item, the connected weighing device supplies the value used by Infinity POS. Tares can also be configured so container weight is subtracted where the item requires it.
Take cash or card without rebuilding the sale
Merchant processingCash stays tied to the till, while BizTracker can configure integrated card processing so the payment flow stays with the POS transaction instead of becoming a separate re-keyed step.
Finish the sale with receipt and cash control
Cash managementInfinity supports POS print layouts for receipts, and its cash-management configuration can assign drawers and accountable users so cash can be reconciled against the lane or operator.
In the back office
What the manager works with after the sale
Infinity Back Office connects the item file, stock-on-hand, purchasing, receiving, stock counts, reporting and cash control instead of treating them as separate records.
Maintain the item file and replenishment rules
Inventory managementThe stock-item record is the central place for product information. Minimum and maximum quantities can be maintained by item and used when Infinity suggests or calculates replenishment quantities.
Order and receive merchandise
Purchase ordersInfinity tracks quantity on order from purchase orders and reduces it as stock is received. Receiving can also update item cost when configured to do so.
Keep stock-on-hand tied to real movements
Stock takeInfinity automatically maintains stock-on-hand when stock is sold, received, manually adjusted or changed by a committed stock take, so the inventory record follows the movements that actually occurred.
Use inventory data in reporting and analysis
ReportingStock-on-hand feeds inventory value, reporting and analysis, purchasing and receiving, so the manager can work from the same operational data used by the store.
Reconcile drawers and accountable users
Cash managementAdvanced Cash Management can assign cash drawers and accountable users, supporting a controlled handoff and reconciliation process rather than an anonymous till balance.
Per-register plan
What goes into an Infinity system
Each quote is built per register from the same five layers. The exact hardware and services change with the store; the structure does not.
Retail platform
Infinity software is the retail platform at the center of the system.
Checkout station
Hardware for InfinityThe register or terminal and the core counter hardware needed to ring a sale.
Workflow peripherals
Hardware for InfinityScanning, label printing, weighing and customer-facing devices are added only where the workflow needs them.
Setup and training
Installation and trainingConfiguration, item-file work, training and go-live are scoped with the system, remotely nationwide or onsite across Tampa Bay.
Processing and support
Merchant processingFor Infinity, merchant processing runs through one of two paths, Bold or Hybrid. Support is available weekdays, 9 to 5, and its scope is defined with the system before the quote is finalized.
Capabilities
What the platform does
Each of these has its own page, because each is a real decision when a system is specified.
Inventory management
Inventory managementOne item file across receiving, transfers and counts. Infinity automatically maintains stock-on-hand as stock is sold, received, adjusted or counted.
Reporting and analysis
ReportingInfinity uses inventory data in reporting and analysis, including stock valuation and stock-on-hand reporting, so operating records feed the manager view.
Purchase orders and replenishment
Purchase ordersQuantity on order increases with purchase orders and falls as stock is received. Minimum and maximum quantities can also be used to help determine reorder quantities.
Stock take
Stock takeWhen a stock take is committed, Infinity updates stock-on-hand so the physical count becomes part of the inventory record.
Customer accounts
Customer accountsInfinity supports charge accounts, regular customer accounts and layaway workflows. Customer accounts can be associated with sales, and layaway history includes payments made and the balance owing.
Cash management
Cash managementAdvanced Cash Management can assign cash drawers and accountable users, and supports counted denominations for reconciliation.
Restricted-item controls
Age-restricted itemsItem records can restrict sales by customer age, permitted dates or permitted times, putting the rule on the product rather than leaving it to memory.
Label printing
Label printingInfinity can print labels when price changes are applied and can print item or receiving labels while merchandise is received.
Hardware and weighed items
Hardware for InfinityInfinity supports connected scale items whose value is supplied by the weighing device, with tare support where container weight must be removed.
In practice
How Infinity is configured per industry
Grocery
GroceryScale items can take their value from the connected weighing device, with tare handling for container weight and label printing during price changes and receiving.
Convenience
ConvenienceItem records can enforce age, date and time selling restrictions at the product level. Infinity supports SNAP EBT and eWIC workflows, and whether a particular store can use them depends on its SNAP retailer authorization, its state WIC agency, the processor and the payment device.
Liquor
LiquorItem-level age and time restrictions, purchase-order/on-order tracking and min/max replenishment controls support a tightly managed liquor inventory.
Specialty retail
Specialty retailInfinity can track serialized stock by serial number from receiving through transfers, stock takes, returns and sales, alongside customer-account workflows.
Apparel and clothing
Apparel and clothingInfinity includes an Apparel Mode for complex apparel operations, including color and size variants.
Setup and support
How an Infinity system is set up and supported
Where the store is decides who can stand at the counter on go-live day. It does not change the work, the team or the support hours.
Remote implementation, nationwide
Installation and trainingItem file, programming, training and go-live handled remotely for stores anywhere in the country, with hardware shipped configured rather than set to defaults.
Onsite across Tampa Bay
Showroom and local supportInstallation and service at the counter where a visit is the right answer, and a showroom to see a complete system running before buying one.
Support hours, stated plainly
SupportSupport is available weekdays, 9 to 5. It is not a 24/7 service; outside those hours you can leave a message.
What support costs
Support and its rateStandard technician support is charged by the hour unless a support plan or other agreement covers it, and the rate is published on the support page. Installation, training and project work are scoped and quoted separately.
Payments
Card processing for an Infinity system
Payments are best planned with the system rather than after it. For Infinity, BizTracker offers two processing paths, Bold and Hybrid, and which one fits is decided from your statement and your counter, never from a headline rate.
Two paths: Bold and Hybrid
Merchant processingThe two processing paths BizTracker offers for an Infinity system. Which one fits depends on how the store takes payment and what its current statement shows.
A statement read before anything is recommended
Statement reviewOne recent monthly statement, fee detail included, read by a person before either path is recommended. No rate is promised before then.
Integrated with the sale, or beside it
Separate terminal or integratedProcessing can run through the POS, so the amount comes from the sale rather than from a keypad, or through a standalone terminal where that genuinely suits the counter better.
Changed with the system, not after it
Installation and trainingPayment devices, testing and the cutover are planned with the Infinity go-live, so the store does not change software and processing at two different times.
Questions about Infinity
Can BizTracker install a POS system remotely?
Yes. Remote implementation covers setup, item file, programming, training and go-live, and it is how we serve retailers outside Tampa Bay. Onsite installation and service are available across Tampa Bay.
Can I reuse the scanners and printers I already own?
Sometimes, and it depends on the specific model rather than on the category. We check the equipment you actually have and tell you before quoting, rather than assuming either way.
What does a complete system cost?
We will not put a figure on a system before we know what it has to do. The system is specified first and quoted against the store. What a POS system costs sets out what moves the number.
Does Infinity handle card processing?
Yes, as part of the system. For Infinity, BizTracker offers two processing paths, Bold and Hybrid, and recommends between them after reading a current statement. Processing can run through the POS or through a standalone terminal beside it, and no rate is promised before the statement is read.
What are the support hours for Infinity?
Weekdays, 9 to 5, remotely for stores anywhere and onsite across Tampa Bay. It is not a 24/7 service; outside those hours you can leave a message.
Is Infinity right for a restaurant or bar?
No. Infinity is a retail platform. Restaurants and bars follow the separate LINGA pathway, which is built for tables, tabs, kitchen routing and online ordering.
Can I see Infinity running before I buy?
Yes. A demo walks through a working system set up for your kind of store, remotely wherever you are or in person at the Tampa Bay showroom.
