Find the Right Ishida Scale

Answer a few questions about your counter, your labels and your POS. The finder shows the models that match what you need, says plainly what we have not confirmed, and ends in a quote request that carries the model you chose.

How the Ishida model finder works

The finder compares the current Ishida models in this catalog with your business requirements, so you start from a short list instead of a model number. It asks up to eight things: the kind of business (grocery, deli, meat, seafood, bakery, produce or convenience store), what the scale must do (weigh only, price computing, label or receipt printing, weighted barcodes, networking, POS integration), how the counter is used, roughly how many PLUs you carry, the label you print, how many scales you need, and, if you wish, your POS system and the model you are replacing.

You do not need to answer all eight questions to request pricing. Answer what you know, or ask a specialist directly.

Each result lists the models that match and the features behind the match. Where something has not been confirmed for a model, such as integration with your POS system, the result says so instead of assuming it. The finder covers Ishida scales only. For CAS scales, see Shop Retail Scales in the Shop menu, and for an older Ishida scale use the Upgrade & Replacement Center linked beside the replacement-model question above.

A match is a starting point. A BizTracker specialist confirms the model, labels and POS integration with you before anything is quoted, and the quote request carries the model you chose. Most Ishida prices are quoted to the configuration.

Choosing an Ishida scale

How wide a label can each Ishida scale print?

The Astra II and the UNI-3 print labels from 38 to 64 mm wide. The UNI-7 takes 30 to 64 mm. The UNI-8 prints 56 mm wide. The UNI-10 takes 30 to 80 mm, the widest of the models in this finder.

Which labels does an Ishida scale use?

Each finder result lists the labels and supplies compatible with that model. The right roll also depends on the liner, core and adhesive, so we confirm it against your scale before you order.

Label widths are the published specifications for each model.
