Can labels print straight from the POS?
Yes. Labels should come from the item file the register uses, so the shelf and the till cannot disagree.
Do I need a separate label printer if I have scales?
Often yes, because the scale labels weighed items and the label printer handles shelf edges and packaged product. They do different jobs.
Can I reuse my current label printer?

What about legal-for-trade requirements?
