Questions about Ishida scales

Which Ishida scales does BizTracker cover?

BizTracker quotes Ishida price computing and label printing scales supplied through Rice Lake Weighing Systems. The finder currently recommends the Astra II and the hanging Uni-3L2H, Uni-7H, Uni-8H and Uni-10H. Bench and pole versions, and the Uni-5, are confirmed with us before we quote them.

What is the difference between the Uni-8 and the Uni-10?

The Uni-8 has a 10.1 inch operator screen and a 2 inch thermal print head with a 56 mm print width. The Uni-10 has a 12.1 inch operator screen, with a 10.1 inch option, and a 3 inch print head that takes labels from 30 to 80 mm wide. Both are PC-based Linux scales with Ethernet and wireless connections.

Can I buy an Ishida scale on the website today?

Not yet. Ask for a quote and we confirm the model, configuration and availability with you first. We do not show a price for a scale until that price has been verified.

Will an Ishida scale work with my POS system?

It depends on the model and on your POS. BizTracker Infinity has a Scale item type for products whose value is calculated when they are weighed by a connected scale, and we check the exact scale, barcode and label workflow before we specify it. If you run another POS, tell us which one and we will say what we can confirm.

Specifications come from Rice Lake Weighing Systems manuals and catalogs and are confirmed again before any quote.
