SAM4s ER-5240M Replacement

The SAM4s ER-5240M is discontinued. CRS lists a 90-key raised keyboard, dual thermal receipt/journal printers, 2-line operator display and optional scanning.

Best current replacement: SAM4s ER-945E

Classification: closest current fit. The ER-945E preserves the raised-key retail-style layout and dual-printer architecture more closely than the current flat-key models.

Before replacing

Confirm keyboard workflow, PLU count, scanner/scale needs, receipt/journal requirements and payment integration before ordering.
