SAM4s ER-285M / ER-285MB Replacement

The SAM4s ER-285M / ER-285MB is discontinued. CRS lists the ER-285MB as a compact commercial ECR with a flat spill-resistant keyboard, 15 keyboard PLUs, high-speed thermal printing, SD-card support, optional card reader and integrated-payment capability.

Best current replacement: SAM4s ER-265EJ

Classification: closest current fit. The ER-265EJ preserves the flat-key, compact commercial-ECR format and adds current Ethernet payment-integration capability.

Migration notes

PLU capacity, programming utilities, card reader/payment options and serial peripherals must be reviewed. This is not a guaranteed file-level migration.
