Pizzerias
Pizza POS system for pizzerias, built on LINGA
A pizzeria takes orders at the counter, on the phone and online, and nearly every one is built topping by topping. BizTracker builds pizzeria systems on LINGA, its restaurant platform, and specifies, installs, trains and supports them itself.
Remote setup and training nationwide. Onsite service across Tampa Bay.
What should a pizza POS system handle?
The order as the customer builds it: size, crust, toppings and instructions, entered once and sent to the kitchen as it was placed, whether it came in at the counter, over the phone or online. For pizzerias, as for other restaurants and bars, BizTracker uses LINGA rather than the Infinity retail platform.
Pizza is one of the most involved orders a restaurant takes. One pie can carry a size, a crust, a sauce, toppings split across two halves and a note for the kitchen, and the price moves with the choices. Getting it wrong costs a remade pie and a late order.
- Order entry with modifiersA pizza is built at the counter, not picked off a shelf.
- Kitchen routingThe oven needs the order as it was placed, not a receipt.
- Online orders in the same systemNobody should re-key a web order during the Friday rush.
- One team for setup, training and supportThe same model as BizTracker’s retail systems.
How your own menu is built in LINGA, including half-and-half toppings, topping prices by size and delivery details, is worth seeing in a demo on your menu before you choose any system, ours included.
What pizzeria owners bring us
-
Custom orders go wrong between the counter and the oven
A wrong topping is a remade pie and a late pickup.
Orders route to the kitchen as they were entered, on a kitchen display or a printed ticket.
-
Online orders arrive on a separate tablet
Staff re-key orders while the phone is ringing.
Online ordering routed into the same system.
-
The menu lives in the old system
Nobody wants to rebuild a menu by hand.
What moves depends on what the current system can export, so the conversion is scoped from a real export before anything is committed.
-
Card processing is a separate relationship
Reconciliation and disputes involve two vendors.
Processing integrated with the POS.

What to see in a pizzeria demo
A pizzeria sells custom orders under time pressure. Ask to see these done on your own menu before you choose a system, ours included.
A half-and-half pie
Ask for one to be entered from start to finish: different toppings on each half, priced, and sent to the kitchen.
Sizes, crusts and toppings
Ask how a topping is priced on a small and on a large, and how a specialty pie is changed without starting again.
Counter, phone and online orders
Counter and phone orders are entered at the POS, and on LINGA online orders route into the same system. Ask to see all three reach the kitchen.
Pickup and delivery
Ask how a pickup time and a delivery address are taken, and what the counter sees when the customer or the driver arrives.
The kitchen on a busy night
On LINGA, orders can route to a kitchen display rather than a printed ticket. Ask to see a full Friday queue on the screen.
Regular customers
Ask whether a regular’s usual order can be found and repeated, and whether loyalty or gift cards would be part of the system you buy.
Set up remotely, or onsite in Tampa Bay
Restaurant systems follow the same implementation and support model as retail: setup and training can be handled remotely nationwide, with onsite installation and service across Tampa Bay.
Pizza POS questions
Which POS does BizTracker use for a pizzeria?
LINGA, BizTracker’s restaurant platform. Pizzerias, like other restaurants and bars, do not go through Infinity, which is the retail platform.
Can one pizza have different toppings on each half?
That depends on how the menu is built, so see it rather than take it on trust: ask for a half-and-half pie to be entered, priced and sent to the kitchen in a demo on your own menu.
Do online orders come into the same system?
Yes. On LINGA, online orders route into the same system rather than arriving on a separate tablet that somebody re-keys during service.
Can orders go to a kitchen display instead of a printer?
Yes. Orders can route to a kitchen display rather than to a printed ticket, so the kitchen works from the order as it was placed.
Can card processing be integrated?
Yes, and it is worth doing for the same reason as in retail: one system to reconcile and one number to call. If current card processing is part of the decision, start with a statement review.
Can our menu be moved from the system we have now?
What moves depends on what the current system can export, so the conversion is scoped from a real export before anything is committed.
Does BizTracker set up pizzeria systems outside Tampa Bay?
Yes. Restaurant systems follow the same implementation and support model as retail: setup and training can be handled remotely nationwide, with onsite installation and service across Tampa Bay.

A short conversation about the menu, how orders come in and what the shop runs today is usually enough to say what fits.
