Discontinued SAM4s Receipt Printer Replacements

CRS lists several older SAM4s receipt printers as discontinued, including the Ellix 10, Ellix 20, Ellix 30, Ellix 40 and Giant 100.

Best current starting point: SAM4s Gcube

For many standard thermal receipt-printer installations, the current SAM4s Gcube is the best modern starting point because it supports 58/80 mm media, modern interfaces and common POS emulations.

Important exceptions

This is not a universal drop-in replacement. Match interface, paper width, command emulation, cash-drawer pinout, mounting method and software driver support. Impact printers, kitchen printers and special slip-printing applications may require a different current printer family.
